Acupuncture for Blocked Fallopian Tubes
Infection is the most common cause of
blocked fallopian tubes. Repeated inflammation will lead to scar tissue of fallopian tube, adhesion of surrounding tissue, distortion of the fallopian tube, and affect ovarian function.
Laparoscopy and hysteroscopy are commonly used in western medicine for the treatment of blocked fallopian tubes, which can release the adhesion of the fallopian tube, dredge and restore the structure and function of the fallopian tube.
However, the operation may bring new trauma, and the problem of blockage again is inevitable. Clinical research found that acupuncture can relieve microcirculation disorders, improve the function of fallopian tube and accelerate the healing of inflammatory tissue.
Acupuncture has a good therapeutic effect on inflammation (whether bacterial or sterile). It is found that acupuncture can inhibit the production of inflammatory cytokines (the factors that cause inflammation in the human body) by stimulating the meridians and collaterals, and finally achieve the anti-inflammatory effect.
